Created during my residency at the Taft-Nicholson Centre, in the Centennial Valley, Montana, USA. The piece was inspired by trips to West Yellowstone National Park, observing bison in their natural habitat.
The original sculpture was made from cut and dried grasses from the valley floor, mixed with plaster.
